Half Braided Hairstyles 2013 I’m not sure who came up with the name but for the longest time  I’ve been calling it a half-French braid. Yes, a half-French braid because you are essentially doing a French braid but only incorporating hair on one side of the braid. Anyways, whenever I do a video with this braid and call it a “half French braid”, people keep on telling me that it’s called a lace braid so that’s what I’m going to call it now. This hairstyles was requested by many of my viewers. I believe the original picture was posted on tumblr but I’m not ure. 

Nonetheless, it’s a really creative and fun braid! It consists of four lace braids. Three that run along the forehead to the back and one that spirals down the ponytail like a carousel.
